As a young child, Dorene had a love of candy and an eye for design. Growing up in Connecticut, annual summer vacations to Cape Cod proved to be more of a candy escape, making candy stops from Hyannis to Provincetown. The sugary aromas and the salty air made for a perfect combination and everlasting sweet memories.

After moving to Cape Cod in 1979, Dorene attended New England School of Art & Design in Boston, pursuing a career in Graphic Design. Through the exciting adventure of raising four children and hosting many a private and public event, she found the perfect combination for her sweet addiction and design talent. Hence, The Perfect Table was set.

Trips with her "Grampa" to his family's old fashioned penny candy store sweetened up Cindy's childhood.  Helping herself to the penny candy, especially nonpareils, is a candy coated memory that she hopes to pass on to others through The Perfect Table Cape Cod.

Cindy acquired her business and management skills at The Katharine Gibbs School in Boston, working for many years as an Office Manager.  Planning and hosting parties of all types for her four children and extended family has helped develop her attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
